Blink-182 ÚS Tour 2025

Blink-182 is a punk rock band originating in the suburban area near San Diego, California. The original lineup was centered around Ton Delonge (guitar, vocals), Mark Hoppus (bass, vocals), and Scott Raynor (drums). Their first demo album – Flyswatter - was recorded live in Raynor’s bedroom on a four-track tape without any mixing or mastering. There were only about 50 poor quality copies. A year later, another demo album (Buddha) was released. The band debuted with Cheshire Cat recorded at Grilled Cheese Records in 1995, featuring some tracks from Buddha. The band’s popularity began to soar in 1997 following the release of Dude Ranch, which went platinum in 1998. The band signed a contract with MCA, and Enema of the State hit the music market in 1999. The album is shot through with the young Blink-182’s signature toilet humor. After topping the rock chart in 2005, the band stopped concerting and touring and disappeared to reunite in 2009 only. That year, the band went on a tour around North America, sharing it with Flat Out Boy and Weezer. After the 2012 European tour, the band terminated its contract with Interscope Records and came up with Dogs Eating Dogs album – a fully self-produced product. In July 2016, with Matt Skiba joining the band after Delonge’s departure, the band climbed the Billboard chart and went on another tour around North America.

The band’s style encompasses a number of punk and other factions, such as pop punk, hardcore punk, skate punk, punk rock, alternative, etc. Known for its toilet humor, the band gradually switched to lyricism reflecting the hardships of social life. Most likely, it was inspired by the plane crash, which all but claimed Travis Barker, the drummer, and the passing away of producer Jerry Finn.

Right now, the band is prepping for a tour around the United States. It will continue from September 12 through September 25. The band is going to hit stages in Moorhead, Chicago, Columbus, Grand Rapids, Ontario (Canada), Uncasville, Atlantic City, Bethlehem, Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs. The band is getting support from State Champs. Tickets are selling very well, and prices vary from $40 to $170.

The tour kicks off after a little delay, as Travis Barker, the drummer, suffered a blood clot issue and had to undergo treatment. As he was receiving it, he’d keep his fans informed on his state and cheer them up, assuring them that the tour would be just fine.
